Plumbing Supervisor

Skillforce has teamed up with a leading mechanical contractor to find a skilled Plumbing Superintendent to work on their commercial and industrial projects. This is a full-time, direct hire position based out of Charleston, SC with occasional local travel. Background check, drug screen, and MVR required PTO and 401k Company truck Supervise plumbing foremen, journeymen, apprentices, helpers, and subcontractors. Oversee commercial plumbing installations and ensure work meets plans, specifications, codes, and manufacturer requirements. Perform material takeoffs, obtain pricing, and coordinate material orders. Develop three‑week look‑ahead schedules and manpower plans. Coordinate inspections, testing, sequencing, and work with other trades. Lead jobsite safety efforts and conduct weekly toolbox talks. Inspect work, manage punch lists, and maintain quality standards. Communicate with Project Managers, GCs, inspectors, and subcontractors. Maintain daily reports, labor tracking, inspection records, and as‑builts. Plumbing Superintendent Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 10+ years of commercial plumbing construction experience. 3+ years of plumbing crew supervision experience. Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and applicable codes. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong leadership and communication skills. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
