Sr. Software Developer - Android Apps

Responsibilities
- Build Android applications from architecture through design and development.
- Develop software for field mapping, data collection, sensor networks, street navigation, and related use cases.
- Optimize mobile application performance and caching and solve complex design, development, and user-experience problems.
- Collaborate with developers and designers throughout the development process and participate in design and code reviews.
- Drive Android technical direction, mentor others, advocate for Android development, and help expand the company’s Android capabilities.
- Understand user requirements and design applications for real-world field scenarios.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
- Experience developing on the Android platform and programming in Kotlin.
- Object-oriented design skills and knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Knowledge of mobile development issues involving performance optimization and caching.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
- Good communication skills, teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to work independently.
