Phlebotomist I Part‑Time – Beachwood, OH Monday & Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Tuesday & Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with rotational weekends. Pay Minimum of $18.51+ per hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation. Responsibilities Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams. Administer oral solutions according to established training. Research test/client information and confirm and verify all written and electronic orders using lab technology systems and approved tools. Navigate a computer and accurately enter data. Obtain identification and accurately enter billing information, collecting payments when required, following corporate policies. Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required by the test order. Perform all non‑patient facing duties, including inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones and using email as appropriate. Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures. Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data when required. Maintain all appropriate phlebotomy logs in a timely manner and according to required frequency, such as maintenance logs and temperature logs. Complete online and in‑person training courses promptly. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). One year phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience. Effective communication in English.
