Shipping Specialist - Sugar Grove, IL
8AM-4:30PM MONDAY-FRIDAY
$25/hr
Job Description
Join our team as a Shipping Specialist where you will work alongside a dedicated colleague in a dynamic stockroom environment. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks including shipping and receiving, picking and packing, managing inventory, and loading and unloading trucks either by hand or using a manual pallet jack. This position requires prior experience with international shipping, as well as proficiency in SAP and shipping platforms such as FedEx and UPS.
Responsibilities

• Handle shipping and receiving tasks efficiently.
• Pick and pack orders with accuracy and care.
• Manage inventory and ensure stockroom organization.
• Load and unload trucks by hand or using a manual pallet jack.
• Utilize SAP, Microsoft Word, and international shipping platforms for daily operations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in international shipping.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic skills in counting, reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Minimum one year of warehouse experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Previous experience in a stockroom environment.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and material handling.

Compliance with ITAR regulations is a must, thus candidates should be US citizens or permanent residents.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sugar Grove, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
