Job Summary:
The operating room registered nurse (RN) or circulating nurse is needed at a healthcare facility located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This role involves providing perioperative patient care within the Neuro Surgery and General Surgery specialties. The position offers evening shifts with a focus on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, acting as a patient advocate throughout the surgical process. The assignment begins on 08/03/2026, with a schedule of 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS from the American Heart Association; 1+ year of experience as a circulating RN with specific experience in neuro, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, and general surgery; experience operating DaVinci Xi robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning; location in Missouri; and a valid certification and educational background in nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Willingness to be flexible with case types; team player attitude and adaptability are valued.
• Additional Information: The position requires flu vaccination from November 1 through April 1, with exemptions needing client approval. The role involves a rotating weekend call approximately every 6-7 days, with scheduled late shifts as needed. The candidate will utilize equipment such as the DaVinci Xi robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair. This is a clinical position focused solely on operating room circulation.
