Experience an engaging contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting middle school students in grades 7-8. This full-time, onsite position is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in special education within a supportive school environment. You’ll work with approximately 15 students, offering both in-class support and conducting pull-out instruction to address varying educational needs.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with middle school students, particularly in grades 7-8
• Solid background in providing both in-class support and individualized pull-out services
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with general educators, support staff, and families
• Ability to design and adapt lessons that address a range of learning needs and styles
• Organizational skills to efficiently manage documentation and student records

Responsibilities:

• Deliver educational support to students in resource settings and within general education classrooms
• Implement IEP goals and adapt instruction based on individual student abilities
• Provide targeted pull-out instruction to help students meet learning objectives
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, related service providers, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates as needed
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate between $40 and $50. Working onsite means you’ll build meaningful connections with students and staff while playing an integral role in each student's academic journey.
