PT nights weekend Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Registered Nurse (RN) – Neurosurgery ICU The NSICU provides comprehensive patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. It is a 29‑bed unit with all private rooms, three negative pressure rooms, and two fully equipped nursing stations with central monitoring. Common diagnoses include subarachnoid hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, epidural hematoma, spinal cord injuries, Code Stroke, head trauma, intracranial hemorrhages, brain tumors, continuous EEG and carotid endarterectomies. The nurses specialize in utilizing the NIHSS, monitoring and manipulating external ventricular device, subdural drains, and IRRAS. We have a 1:2 ratio and an AACN Beacon of Excellence Silver Designation. Where You Will Work Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is a flagship hospital, Level 1 Trauma center, Magnet-designated, and an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas, and liver. It serves as one of North Carolina’s five Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for over 200 physicians across 15 specialties. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing At least 6 months of RN experience (not for new grads) Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association What You’ll Do Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Utilize evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Compensation Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
