About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Biomarkers to join their executive leadership group. The successful candidate will be a key figure in guiding client programs, expanding commercial partnerships, and enhancing scientific capabilities. This role requires a Ph.D. in a relevant life science discipline, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in biomedical or biotechnology environments, and a strong background in isotope-based metabolic tracing, biomarker analysis, mass spectrometry, and advanced analytical platforms. The VP of Biomarkers will be responsible for leading complex scientific and client-facing projects, contributing to commercial discussions, and ensuring the organization is aligned with market trends and client needs. Key responsibilities for the VP of Biomarkers include serving as a scientific subject-matter expert in the sales and client engagement process, partnering with commercial teams to support proposals and study design, and leading client programs from development to reporting. The role also involves supporting laboratory teams in technical challenges, directing internal research initiatives, and identifying new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and maintaining long-term relationships, be highly self-motivated, and possess excellent communication skills. Familiarity with lipid metabolism, protein turnover, and related assay systems is preferred, as is experience in preclinical and clinical research programs.
