This role involves providing comprehensive obstetrical care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases within a dedicated Labor and Delivery Department. The position requires ensuring safe delivery of care with critical thinking, leadership, and clinical expertise. Job Details Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Department Location: Durant Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required Education & Experience: 3 years of experience required in labor and delivery nursing Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care in pregnancy over 20 weeks, labor, postpartum, and neonatal care; ensuring patient safety; demonstrating critical thinking and leadership skills; maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education; supervising and delegating patient care as appropriate; adhering to state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Float: Float rotation may be required to post-partum or nursery units. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
