Planet Fitness is looking for a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to service our clubs around the greater Raleigh, NC area.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Installing, maintaining and repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulationsUpkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all locationsInspection of alarm systemsPartnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as neededAbility to be on call for maintenance emergenciesAvailable of nights and weekendsTravel will be necessary meaning a valid driver's license will be needed. Vehicle transportation will be provided by the companyReimbursement will also be provided for travel timeJob Position Requirements:Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systemsProficiency with tools as well as common appliances and devicesAbility to lift items weighing 75 poundsMaintaining excellent condition of company vehicleStrong communication skillsMust be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings and weekendsThe job requirements list is not a complete description of responsibilities, but the list reflects the general qualifications, duties and/or responsibilities necessary to perform this position.
