Maintenance TechnicianLinde Gas & Equipment Inc.Durham, NC, United StatesWhat you will enjoy doing:Maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities at customer installations through site inspections and maintenanceInstall, start up, and decommission high-pressure and acetylene supply systems including compressors, purifiers, and filling manifoldsCoordinate and perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance and adjustments on process equipment such as centrifugal and reciprocating compressorsMonitor parts availability, replenish supplies, and manage physical inventory controlTroubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and perform repairs efficientlyOversee contractor safety programs and the location's Process Safety Mechanical Integrity ProgramAssist in developing and reviewing standard operating procedures to improve operational safety and efficiencyUtilize hand and portable power tools while following safe working practices during equipment repair and maintenanceWhat makes you great:Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance with company procedures, regulations, and industry standardsPossess excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectivelyShow proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs of industrial equipmentHold a forklift operator certification and demonstrate process understanding including process control schematic interpretationUse computers and Microsoft applications such as Outlook and Excel to support daily tasksExhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate teamwork and clear information exchangeEmbrace self-directed learning to continuously improve skills and knowledgeThrive in a dependable, collaborative team environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusionWhy you will love working with us:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
