Responsibilities: * Conduct evaluations and assess home environments to identify speech/language function needs. * Develop and implement plans of care to address functional speech defects. * Administer specialized therapeutic techniques and recommend communication aids as needed. * Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on treatment regimes and collaborate with other healthcare personnel. * Maintain accurate clinical notes and participate in discharge planning using the company's electronic medical record system. * Attend in-services, case conferences, and meetings to ensure coordinated patient care. * Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practices. * May supervise home health aides related to the speech-language therapy plan of care. Qualifications: * Master's or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology (SLP). * Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the state or fulfilling requirements if the state does not license SLPs. * Minimum of one (1) year's clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology. * Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
