Senior HR Generalist

Our client is a family-founded, privately owned manufacturer of commercial food service equipment. They are an industry leader with over $200M in annual revenue, providing a range of American-made equipment solutions to a large portfolio of B2B customers and accounts. The Position As a Senior HR Generalist, you will serve as a strategic business partner to leaders across the organization. You will provide guidance on talent development, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee relations. By coaching leaders, driving HR initiatives, and delivering data-informed people solutions, this role will support overall business objectives and foster a high-performing culture. Primary responsibilities include: Serve as a trusted HR resource, providing strategic guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent decisions. Partner with leaders to develop and execute talent strategies focused on recruiting, onboarding, retention, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement. Support performance management by coaching leaders, driving accountability, and implementing development plans that enhance employee performance and organizational success. Analyze workforce metrics, employee feedback, and organizational trends to provide data-driven recommendations that improve engagement, retention, and business performance. Support compensation and organizational effectiveness initiatives, including market benchmarking, job evaluations, organizational design, and pay recommendations. Lead or contribute to HR projects involving policy implementation, HRIS optimization, process improvement, audits, change management, and the rollout of new HR programs and technology. Lead employee relations activities, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, performance improvement, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. Promote operational excellence by developing efficient HR processes, ensuring compliance, mentoring junior HR team members, and delivering responsive, customer-focused HR support. Qualifications and Candidate Background The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field strongly preferred. 4+ years' experience of progressively responsible HR experience. Experience with organizational development and change management. Experience leading projects, influencing leaders, and managing complex employee situations with sound judgment. Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is preferred, but not required.
