Job Description Medical Assistant – Certified We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become part of our team! You will perform administrative and clinical assignments to keep our medical weight loss facility running smoothly. Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm (minimum of 32 hours per week). Salary: $20 per hour + Bonus Job Qualifications Education: Associate's degree Experience: 2 plus years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Licenses/Certifications: CPR and first aid certification required; certification as a medical assistant (CMA) Benefits Quarterly Bonus after 3 months Free ParkingNo Nights or Weekends Private practice health care setting General Role Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. Cleans treatment rooms following patient examinations. Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files. Performs routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements and blood pressure checks. Prepares and administers medication. Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments.
