Job Title: Infusion RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Infusion Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: Current RN License in California required Certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card Must-Have: Epic charting system experience required Description: Chemo Certified Infusion RN needed. Certification requirements include a valid RN license and chemotherapy provider card. Schedule consists of days, typically 5 weekdays with occasional weekends. Patient care will focus on outpatient infusion services, including chemotherapy. Must possess skills in accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, and handling cytotoxic spills. Experience with patient education and support for various cancer diagnoses is essential. The RN will work with interdisciplinary support, including pharmacy and unit secretaries. Monitoring chemotherapy and recognizing abnormal lab values are key responsibilities. Ensuring patient safety and following infection control protocols is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with the specific treatments and management of cancer care. A thorough work history verification will be conducted prior to hiring. Candidates must be prepared to provide accurate employment history for the last 7 years.
