This is a highly strategic area for Airwallex, with the opportunity to solve complex customer problems at the intersection of product, risk, data, operations, and commercial strategy.What you'll doAs Senior Product Manager, Lending, you will own a critical part of Airwallex’s lending product portfolio and help shape how businesses access credit through our platform. You will work closely with engineering, design, credit risk, legal, compliance, operations, data, and commercial teams to build products that are intuitive for customers and robust for the business.You will be responsible for identifying customer pain points, defining product strategy for your area, and driving execution from concept through launch and iteration. This role is ideal for someone who is excited by ambiguity, motivated by customer impact, and energised by solving hard problems in a fast-moving and regulated environment.ResponsibilitiesOwn product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a key area within Airwallex’s lending and credit product suitePartner with customers, commercial teams, and internal stakeholders to deeply understand customer problems, validate opportunities, and identify the right segments to serveTranslate complex credit, regulatory, operational, and technical requirements into simple, scalable product experiencesWork closely with engineering and design to define solutions, prioritise trade-offs, and deliver high-quality products with speed and rigorPartner with credit risk, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure products are commercially effective and operationally soundHelp shape embedded lending and first-party lending propositions, taking new ideas from concept to launchDefine success metrics, analyse product and portfolio performance, and use data to improve conversion, customer experience, unit economics, and risk outcomesStay close to market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in SME banking, credit, and embedded financeWho you areWe’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.Minimum qualifications5 to 7 years of overall professional experienceSignificant experience in product management, with a strong track record of shipping and scaling products in fintech, financial services, lending, or adjacent regulated domainsExperience taking products from ideation through delivery and iteration, ideally in complex cross-functional environmentsStrong product judgment and analytical skills, with the ability to use data and first-principles thinking to make decisionsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional teamsBachelor’s degree or higher with strong academic achievementPreferred qualificationsExperience with lending, credit, working capital, underwriting, or embedded finance productsFamiliarity with SME banking, lending operations, credit risk, or regulatory requirements across one or more marketsExperience working closely with risk, legal, compliance, or operations teams in a regulated environmentExperience in high-growth technology or startup environmentsBackground in software engineering, economics, finance, or consultingApplicant Safety Policy: Fraud and Third-Party RecruitersTo protect you from recruitment scams, please be aware that Airwallex will not ask for bank details, sensitive ID numbers (i.e. passport), or any form of payment during the application or interview process.
