Catering Bartender - Seattle Convention CenterThe Catering Bartender is responsible for providing outstanding guest service from the moment guests arrive until they leave the establishment. The Catering Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests' requests. This may include preparing mixed drinks, as well as pouring wine and beer. Displays phenomenal hospitality, friendliness, and comprehensive beverage knowledge. Responsible for transaction handling, beverage pouring, and established alcohol service policies. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $17.91 to $19.17. Benefits vary by location and are subject to any legal requirements or limitations, employee eligibility status, and where the employee lives and/or works.Job Responsibilities:Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactionsMixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesAdheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumptionAdheres to cash handling policiesSets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizingTakes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levelsProvides excellent guest service, anticipating guests needs and ensuring guest satisfactionMaintains a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.Ensures security of company assetsOther duties and tasks as assigned by managerQualifications:Previous experience as a bartender preferredThorough knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and mixologyMust be able to obtain and present Washington State Food Worker Card and Washington Alcohol Server Card (MAST)Demonstrates excellent guest service and interpersonal skillsDemonstrates organizational & multi-tasking skills, accuracy, and attention to detailRequires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbEnjoys working in a fast-paced fun work environmentIdeal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to: Mix drinks quickly and accurately.
