At Abernethy Laurels , our residents are family, and we believe every meal should feel like it’s made with love. We’re seeking a dedicated Cook to join our culinary team and help us provide exceptional dining experiences for seniors in all levels of care. What You’ll Do: Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and special dining service requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations. Work closely with dining staff to ensure timely and high-quality meal service. Bring creativity and heart to every plate, making mealtime a highlight of the day for our residents. Minimal Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Other Qualifications: Certification as a ServSafe preferred. 5 years of cooking experience in restaurant setting or long term care Ability to read and follow recipes; ability to write, add, and subtract. Strong organizational skills and creativity in meal preparation. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and accept responsibility for accuracy and quality of work. Why Join Us?
