QuickBooks Bookkeeper On Site

Position Summary We are a growing healthcare organization located in Borough Park, Brooklyn, seeking a detail-oriented and dependable QuickBooks Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping skills, healthcare finance experience, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Yiddish. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll and reporting functions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Record and reconcile insurance reimbursements, patient payments, and vendor payments Track and reconcile Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance payments Process payroll and maintain employee expense records Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Support tax preparation and collaborate with external accountants Maintain compliance with healthcare financial regulations and HIPAA requirements Communicate professionally with vendors, staff, and external partners in both English and Yiddish Assist with general accounting and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Required Fluent in both English and Yiddish (spoken and written) Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience Proficiency in QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr WonderWay ABA NJ In-Home
