Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Tampa FL 33609.

Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | 40 hours/week
Location: Tampa, FL 33609
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Pay Range: $21.00 to $22.00/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care, treatments, and clinical procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
• Perform blood draws/venipuncture as certified.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use EHR/computer systems.
• Provide direct patient care and support daily clinic operations.
• Educate patients and communicate treatment or follow-up instructions.
• Follow HIPAA, safety, and infection-control guidelines.
• Work effectively with providers and the clinical team.

Requirements
2+ years of Medical Assistant experience. Medical Assistant Certification required. CPR Certification required. Phlebotomy/venipuncture and vital signs experience.
