Security Manager

Senior Security Specialist Hanscom Air Force, MA US (Primary) Responsibilities Perform analytical, planning, advisory, operational, or evaluative work to develop and implement policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss. Recommend and implement policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, candidates for employment, and other personas having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information, materials, or work sites. Provide security support to assigned controlled facilities, including: Exercising delegated access control to secure areas Assisting in opening and closing controlled areas Assisting in arming and disarming facility alarm systems as required Assisting in accomplishing end‑of‑day security checks Be knowledgeable of DD security procedures, including classified transmission, protection of incoming mail, courier requirements, security incident reporting, and security violation sanctions. Qualifications SECRET Clearance required. 5 days work onsite. Ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to assigned tasks. Strong communication skills to build relationships with supported customers. Experience with SharePoint, including managing, uploading, and editing program data and files. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. BA/BS degree and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with at least 3 years in DoD.
