Warehouse & Distribution Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse & Distribution Manager to oversee warehouse operations supporting manufacturing and global distribution. This role is responsible for inventory management, team leadership, operational performance, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has extensive warehouse leadership experience and a proven ability to drive efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations
• Manage inventory accuracy and material flow processes
• Track and report KPIs and operational performance metrics
• Lead, develop, and motivate warehouse teams
• Manage departmental budgets and support business planning initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Drive continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and distribution activities
• Support import/export processes and transportation operations

Qualifications

• 10+ years of warehouse experience required
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing warehouse or distribution teams
• Experience with inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations
• Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
• Experience managing budgets and operational performance
• Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, LTL, and freight management systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Queens, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
