Sr. Manager, Software Engineering

About your role:

At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Manager Software Development II, you will lead a team of talented developers to create innovative solutions that address complex business challenges. Your role will involve overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software applications, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects.

What you'll do:

• Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications that align with Fiserv's strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Experience you'll need to have:

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience leading teams
• 3+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
• 3+ years of experience in SQL databases
• 3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
• 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience in the financial services industry

Salary Range

$160,000.00 - $240,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Sunnyvale, California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
