Project Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are thoroughly assessed. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary data and understand project specifications. Your expertise will be critical in evaluating labor, materials, and time requirements to provide comprehensive estimates that align with budgetary constraints and project timelines.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as proficiency in construction management software. Responsibilities include analyzing blueprints and technical documents, preparing detailed cost analyses, and maintaining an organized database of past project estimates for reference. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying potential risks, offering cost-saving alternatives, and assisting in bid preparation. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, as you will be liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
To be successful in this position, candidates should have a background in construction, engineering, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in project estimation.
