Project Manager- Laboratory Facility We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial self-starter to join our ambitious team in Los Angeles. This position will be an excellent learning opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment with lots of variety. This is a startup environment so sometimes things have to get done, regardless of whose job description it falls under. The right candidate will be a hard working individual with experience working in laboratory environments who can take initiative, problem solve, and ask smart questions. We don't need someone who has used every piece of lab equipment, but someone who is able to Google, YouTube, and tech support their way to solutions. The main job duties will include overseeing a multitenant laboratory facility in the Los Angeles area, including but not limited to: Facility maintenance & repair coordination Laboratory maintenance Customer service Project management Participating in the sales process by giving tours and interviewing potential clients Planning and hosting events Incident response Qualifications Required: BS / BA in biology, chemistry, or related field Experience working in a biology or chemistry laboratory Experience in laboratory operations Exceptional interpersonal skills Ability to both self-manage and work in a collaborative team Results-oriented, with a focus on customer service Strong attention to detail Preferred: MS / PhD in biology, chemistry, or related field Knowledge of EH&S compliance Experience working for a startup Experience in event planning About us We are a lab as-a-service provider headquartered in Los Angeles County.
