Phlebotomist

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 1:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Location SantaAna,CA – 1301E.17thSt., SantaAna,CA. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. California state‑issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). (An application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at the time of hire may satisfy the license requirement.) One year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at LabCorp. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment and to work under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD. 401(k) plan. Incentive Program Phlebotomists may be eligible to participate in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
