Role Description The Home Health Aide role at Kreative Kids Academy is a full-time, on-site position based in Cleveland, OH. In this role, the Home Health Aide provides personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. The Home Health Aide helps maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, supports basic patient care needs, and observes and reports changes in client condition to appropriate team members. Daily tasks include offering companionship, supporting simple exercises and activity routines, and following individualized care plans. The role also involves clear communication with clients, families, and staff, accurate documentation of services provided, and adherence to organizational and regulatory care standards. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Home Care and Patient Care, including the ability to follow care plans and provide safe, compassionate support. Experience assisting with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility. Strong Communication skills, including the ability to interact respectfully with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Proficiency in Personal Care tasks, maintaining client dignity, privacy, and comfort at all times. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved Home Health Aide or Nurse Aide training program preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe. Ability to lift, move, and assist clients safely and to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods. Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions and protocols with minimal supervision.
