Health Science Adjunct - Human Genetics & Genomics Description

South College seeks applicants who are knowledgeable about, but not limited to, the following areas of Human Genetics and Genomics:

Gene structure and function
The manner in which traits and diseases are transmitted from parents to children
The molecular basis of human traits and diseases

Requirements:

Candidates must show evidence the following:

Education

A minimum of an acceptable master’s degree in the specific subject matter field (doctorate preferred)

An earned master’s or doctoral degree and satisfactory completion of 18 graduate semester hours in subject matter field and

Experience

Experience teaching similar courses at a higher education institute.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching online.
