Director, Global Sales Training Execution

Becton Dickinson seeks a Director to architect and scale global sales training and capability development across its enterprise commercial organization. This strategic leadership role designs the end-to-end system for seller capability development, ensuring sales methodology translates into measurable commercial impact worldwide.

Responsibilities

Partner with HR and Sales Leadership to architect a future-ready global sales capability model aligned to commercial strategy
Define critical seller and customer-engagement capabilities by role and segment; assess and evolve required skillsets
Translate sales methodology into learning experiences and integrated capability journeys for sellers globally
Establish enterprise governance, quality audits, and measurement frameworks linking training to behavior change and commercial outcomes
Lead, develop, and inspire a global team of learning and development experts to maximize impact and efficiency

Requirements

8-10 years professional experience in commercial or organizational development
5+ years leading global sales enablement, training, or capability functions in large enterprises
Deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, and learning measurement
Demonstrated success building and scaling capability systems across regions and selling roles
5+ years people leadership experience managing managers and senior leaders
Strong business partnership skills and ability to influence across organizational levels
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
