Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Tech to join our team. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images and providing exceptional patient care. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of radiology technology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient experiences. Responsibilities include producing high-quality diagnostic images using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound; preparing patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and maintaining patient safety; operating and maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety; collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care; maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results; participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety; and providing exceptional patient care, including addressing patient concerns and providing emotional support.

Requirements include an associate's degree in Radiology Technology or related field, completion of a radiology technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), 1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech in a hospital or imaging center setting, experience with various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound, strong understanding of radiology technology and imaging principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and safety. Certifications/licenses include ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R) and current state license as a Radiology Tech (if required).
