Location: Saint Paul, MN | Schedule: 1st Shift 6am-3pm or 2nd shift 3:30PM-12:00AM | Pay Rate: $18.00/hour 

 

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in electronics manufacturing to hire an Entry-Level Machine Operator. If you have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, this is your opportunity to build valuable skills in a precision-focused manufacturing environment. 

What You’ll Do 

• Set up and operate wire cut/strip machines according to process sheets. 

• Change blades, rollers, and guide tubes as needed. 

• Inspect, sort, count, and bundle products while minimizing scrap. 

• Document product lot numbers and production data in the ERP system. 

• Read customer prints, SOPs, schematics, and drawings. 

• Use measurement and inspection tools such as rulers, calipers, micrometers, and microscopes. 

• Troubleshoot machine issues and identify missing or unclear specifications. 

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 

• Follow all company, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. 

What You Bring 

Required:  

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. 

• Basic math and measurement skills. 

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. 

• Good communication and teamwork skills. 

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP systems. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. 

Preferred:  

• Experience with manufacturing, electronics, wire/cable processing, or machine operation. 

• Familiarity with wire harness assembly, tooling, or fixtures. 

• Experience using calipers, micrometers, or microscopes. 

• Ability to troubleshoot automated machinery.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
