We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (Wholesale Distribution) to join our growing garage door wholesale company!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, inside sales, order entry, or counter sales experience in a wholesale, distribution, building materials, construction supply, or warehouse environment.

Our CSRs work directly with contractors and customers to answer product questions, prepare quotes, enter and process orders, coordinate with the warehouse, and ensure customers receive accurate and timely service. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn our products and become a knowledgeable resource for our customers.

Primary Duties:

• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor when interacting with customers at all times.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests via various communication channels.
• Provide accurate and timely information regarding customer order status and product knowledge.
• Process customer orders, changes, and returns following departmental policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, assist customers with quoting, order entry, order processing, invoicing, and maintain comprehensive record-keeping.

• Ensure proper handling and filing of sensitive materials and records in accordance with established internal controls.
• Provide timely feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns.
• Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
• Contribute to team efforts by achieving related goals and objectives as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Accounting/Transaction software such as SAGE100 & SAGE CRM.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high level of confidence.
• Creative problem solver with the ability to resolve critical issues.
• Skilled in multitasking and adept at managing conflicts within the business environment.
• Actively engaged in company development plans with a strong dedication to work.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• This is a full-time position.

Experience in garage doors, building materials, construction supply, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, lumber, industrial supply, automotive parts, or a similar distribution environment is strongly preferred.
