Business Development Representative – NetSuite & Event ServicesPlease make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.Location: Scottsdale, AZ / HybridEmployment Type: Full-TimeDepartment: SalesCompensation: Competitive base salary + uncapped commissionAbout the RoleWe are looking for an energetic, motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help grow our sales of Oracle NetSuite and ConventionSuite, our purpose-built ERP and business management solution for the event-services industry.This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who understands the unique challenges of event services, trade shows, exhibit houses, experiential marketing, venues, or general service contractors and can connect those business challenges to technology solutions.The ideal candidate is a proven business development professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, generating qualified opportunities, and working with senior decision-makers to identify opportunities for improving their business through technology.What You'll DoIdentify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the event-services and related industries.Build relationships with owners, executives, operations leaders, finance leaders, and technology decision-makers.Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, industry events, and other channels.Qualify prospects and uncover business challenges involving operations, financials, CRM, inventory, project management, rentals, billing, and event logistics.Educate prospects on the value of Oracle NetSuite and ConventionSuite.Schedule qualified discovery calls, demonstrations, and sales meetings for the sales team.Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and prospect information in CRM.Develop and execute targeted prospecting campaigns within the event and trade-show industries.Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to develop relationships and generate opportunities.Collaborate with sales, consulting, and implementation teams to ensure prospects receive a strong experience throughout the sales process.Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and qualified-opportunity goals.What We're Looking ForRequired2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, SaaS sales, ERP sales, or a related B2B sales role.Proven ability to prospect and generate new business.Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging senior-level decision-makers.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities.Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented.Highly PreferredExperience selling Oracle NetSuite, ERP, CRM, SaaS, or business-management softwareExperience working in or selling to the event-services industryExperience with trade shows, exhibit houses, general service contractors, experiential marketing, event production, convention centers, venues, or event technologyExisting relationships or industry knowledge within the event and exhibition services community.Experience selling technology to small and mid-sized businesses.Why This Role Is DifferentYou won't be selling generic software into an unfamiliar market.Our ConventionSuite solution is built on Oracle NetSuite and specifically addresses the operational and financial complexities of the event industry—including CRM and sales, accounting, inventory, project management, exhibitor services, rentals, procurement, and event logistics.Your event-industry knowledge will allow you to have meaningful conversations with prospects about their business—not simply make a generic software pitch.The Ideal CandidateYou may be a great fit if you are:A NetSuite BDR/SDR looking to advance your career.An ERP or SaaS salesperson with a successful outbound track record.An event-industry sales professional ready to transition into technology sales.A trade-show, exhibit, venue, or experiential-marketing professional with strong business development experience.A sales professional who already has relationships within the event-services industry. xhyhwjd Join UsIf you're passionate about sales, technology, and the events industry—and want the opportunity to help businesses modernize the way they operate—we'd like to hear from you.Apply today and tell us about your sales experience, event-industry background, and why you're excited about helping event businesses leverage NetSuite.
