Attorney - Medical Malpractice

*Job Overview*

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Attorney with 3+ years experience specializing in Medical Malpractice / Senior Care to join our dynamic litigation team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex medical malpractice cases from inception to trial, providing expert legal counsel to clients, and advocating effectively in court.

*Duties*

* Manage a caseload of medical malpractice litigation from inception through resolution and assisting to cover the calendar
* Conduct thorough legal research
* Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and other discovery items with precision and clarity
* Conduct and defend depositions of all parties and non-parties
* Produce clients for deposition
* Review medical records
* Meet with experts
* Maintain meticulous case management records, monitor deadlines, and ensure all legal administrative tasks are completed efficiently

*Qualifications*

* Admitted to practice in NYS and in good standing
* At least 3+ years of relevant experience
* Demonstrated excellence in research, writing and legal analysis
* Excellent communication skills. Must be responsive.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
