Operations Specialist

Overview TierPoint is seeking an Operations Specialist who will play a vital role in providing high quality customer service and supporting internal and external communication. Ideal candidates will have experience providing customer service and general administrative duties. In this role you will act as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal team members, work in a fast‑paced and rapidly changing environment, and appropriately escalating urgent issues to senior staff. You will also take pride in your work, appearance, and the upkeep of the facility, representing TierPoint’s reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence. An understanding of your role as it relates to day‑to‑day operations is critical. Schedule The schedule will be as follows: rotating shift. Thursday – Saturday, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am Thursday – Sunday, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am Responsibilities Provide quality internal and external customer service aligned with company values. Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients. Coordinate meetings between different departments internally and with external parties. Handle both incoming and outgoing shipments. Monitor security cameras. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Use good judgment and decision‑making skills. Have adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform job responsibilities. Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Prioritize and organize tasks effectively. Work independently and collaborate with others. Operate effectively in a fast‑moving, team‑oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines. Preferred Experience Prior experience in the data center industry. High school degree or experience in a customer service/help desk environment. Working Conditions Data center operations environment. Shift work: Availability for on‑call duties and occasional shift work, including nights and weekends, as required by the data center’s operational needs. Physical requirements: Ability to work in controlled environments and handle physical tasks such as lifting hardware or navigating confined spaces. The pay range may be narrower than displayed, as various factors are used to determine the offered compensation package, including skill set, level of experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
