Details ICU setting, with option to also float to Neuro or Surgical ICU as needed Night shift, 4x12 hours (18:30-07:00) Patient ratio of 1:2 Option of 36 or 48 hours per week Float required to like units within scope Weekend shifts required Requirements Active RN license (NM or Compact) required prior to start BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1.5-2 years of ICU experience required Skilled in IV therapy, arterial line and central line management, PICC line management, and blood product administration Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and ABG interpretation Skilled in continuous IV sedation, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration Experience with CVA/acute stroke management; EVD, ICP monitoring, and post neurosurgery management preferred Skilled in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and care of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure patients Epic charting experience preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients including ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients Facility offers brief unit orientation prior to floating assignments First-time travelers are welcome to apply Previous staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted No travel pairs or groups permitted American Traveler Job ID P-749623.
