Overview:
Sentara Norfolk General is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse for the High-Risk Labor and Delivery Unit.
This is a rotating shift position, 36 hours per week.
Preferred applicants will have experience specifically in Labor and Delivery.
Sign on bonus up to $15,000 available for qualified candidates.

Education
RN-Associate's Degree
RN-Bachelor's Degree
RN-Master's Degree
License / Certification
Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
NRP within 6 months of hire.
PALS within 6 months of hire.
Experience
Previous L & D experience preferred

As a teaching hospital for resident physicians, we provide hands-on learning opportunities, mentorship, and professional growth. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
In addition to the high-quality heart program at Sentara Heart Hospital, our facility is home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several other dedicated facilities and specialized services. As a recognized accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence, our hospital specializes in heart and vascular, neurosciences, neurosurgery, urology, oncology, spine care, advanced imaging, behavioral health, maternity, and women's health, including a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit.
