Staff Accountant (Tax & Bookkeeping)

Fulton Management, a leading entertainment business management firm based in Encino, is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive Staff Accountant with tax experience to join our growing team of professionals. About the Position The Staff Accountant plays a vital role within our firm, supporting both day-to-day bookkeeping and tax functions for multiple clients. This is a hybrid role requiring hands-on involvement in accounting operations as well as tax preparation and planning. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Key Responsibilities Prepare individual, C corporation, S corporation, partnership, and trust tax returns, primarily for clients in the entertainment industry Assist with tax planning and projections Prepare and assist with foreign filings including Forms 8840, 8858, 5471, 5472 , and other international reporting requirements as needed Conduct tax research and remain current on relevant tax law developments Respond to tax notices and assist with correspondence from federal and state taxing authorities Communicate with clients and maintain strong professional client relationships Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording transactions and maintaining accurate financial records for multiple clients Prepare financial reports and assist with other accounting needs as requested by the client Assist with payroll processing (Paychex experience preferred) Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required 1–4 years of accounting and tax experience (business management or public accounting preferred) Experience preparing individual and entity tax returns Strong understanding of accounting principles Strong computer skills including QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with Lacerte tax software preferred Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Fulton Management offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Why Fulton Management We are a collaborative, team-oriented firm that values professionalism, consistency, and long-term relationships.
