Responsibilities Create business requirement documents covering functional and non‑functional requirements, based on information gathered as part of workshops and interviews with client stakeholders. Review, propose and develop solution architecture, ensuring application design aligns with the proposed framework and is scalable, reliable and maintainable. Assess and recommend suitable technologies, tools and platforms for implementation as a part of architectural design, to meet business requirements. Review technical solutions and develop strategies for integration with different technologies and systems, to ensure seamless communication and data flow. Resolve complex technical challenges during build, deployment and support phases while promoting reusable frameworks and artifacts. Provide specialised insights to the development team and build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams, securing successful execution of projects. Identify potential risks in the system landscape, monitor system performance and suggest optimisation initiatives in line with business requirements and long‑term objectives. Establish and uphold a comprehensive knowledge base to guarantee that vital information is systematically recorded and readily available. Contribute to proposals and RFPs by delivering insights related to architectural solutions for successful delivery of the proposed solutions. Contribution to the Team Expertise in designing and reviewing solution architectures that align with business goals. The ability to provide architectural insights to strengthen solution proposals and ensure successful delivery. A strategic mindset to align technical solutions with business goals and market trends. Required Skills & Experience AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) preferred, with experience in AWS cloud architecture, design and implementation. Experience in Application Architecture, including microservices, cloud‑native architectures, integration patterns, scalability, security and performance optimisation. Programming experience in one or more enterprise technologies, preferably: Java (Spring Boot, Microservices), .NET, Python (preferred for AI/ML use cases). Proven ability to design, develop and demonstrate Generative AI POCs using programming languages such as Java, .NET or Python. Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools, including one or more of: LeanIX, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, Bizzdesign Alfabet or equivalent platforms. Experience creating enterprise architecture artefacts, capability models, application portfolios and technology roadmaps. Familiarity with TOGAF, Enterprise Architecture frameworks and governance practices. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience with AWS AI/ML services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker preferred. Working knowledge of Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, AI Assistants and AI‑powered application development. Experience integrating GenAI solutions with enterprise applications using APIs, cloud services, vector databases and AI frameworks preferred. Additional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty will be considered in lieu of one year of education. This position may require relocation and/or travel to the work/project location.
