What To Expect Tesla is seeking a Senior Counsel, Energy Products to join our legal team in either Austin, TX, or Bay Area, CA, with a strong preference for Austin, TX. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Energy Products, this role will focus on commercial matters supporting Tesla’s global residential, commercial, industrial, and utility‑scale solar, energy storage, and Supercharger businesses. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience from a big‑firm background in renewable energy, with expertise in equipment sales, service agreements, commodity trading, purchase agreements, utility contracts, project development, construction, and finance deals. This position offers a unique opportunity for a proactive and entrepreneurial lawyer to contribute to Tesla’s mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
