Job Opportunity: Primary Care Physician

Our organization, a 25-bed critical access hospital, is actively seeking a full-time or part-time primary care physician to become a valued member of our skilled and collaborative team. As part of a comprehensive healthcare network, our Primary Care team provides expert, patient-focused medical services across various locations, including Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, Waldoboro, and Wiscasset in Maine.

• Build long-lasting relationships with patients, delivering high-quality and compassionate care to individuals and families.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional primary care services that improve community health and well-being.

As a designated Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and a not-for-profit entity, primary care providers at our facility may qualify for federal student loan repayment options, including:

Qualifications and Experience

• Education/Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or an equivalent program.
• Licenses/Certifications: Eligibility for licensure in the State of Maine.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Capability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
