Advanced Practice Provider - APP - Cardiology

Our cardiology team, located on the campus of SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - St. Charles is growing and we are adding a full-time Cardiology Electrophysiology (EP) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.Become part of an established team of physicians and APPs working in a supportive environment that fosters career development and work-life balance.

Job Details:

• Improve patient access, continuity of care, and EP service coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings in St. Charles County.
• Support weekly inpatient EP consults and patient rounding in collaboration with the EP physician.
• Enjoy a predictable Monday-Friday schedule, with one weekend per month dedicated to supporting the EP physician with hospital rounding and continuity of care. Additional stipend provided for weekend coverage.
• Round at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital- St. Charles and SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital-Lake St. Louis during non-clinic time.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient electrophysiology care during two half-day clinic sessions each week, including established patient follow-ups, post-procedure management, and hospital follow-up visits.
• Complete patient evaluations, follow-ups, and post-procedure care.
• Coordinate testing, procedures, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Practice autonomously at the top of your license
• Support a highly regarded Electrophysiologist who is recognized for clinical excellence, advanced procedural expertise, and delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Your Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and be a flexible team player.
• Experience/Interest in cardiology desired; will consider new graduates with appropriate rotation experience in cardiology or adult medicine.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program or Physician Assistant (PA) Program
• Active Missouri RN and NP Licensure or Physician Assistant Licensure or ability to obtain.
