Position Overview

Restore Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at our outpatient clinic in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering exceptional physical therapy services to our diverse patient population. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM within our modern outpatient facility in Chattanooga, TN. Occasionally, schedule flexibility may be required to adapt to patient needs and clinic operations. Our clinic is designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere that encourages patient engagement and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for each patient, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Guide patients through various therapeutic exercises, activities, and techniques aimed at alleviating pain and promoting physical rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on body mechanics, safe exercise practices, and create home exercise programs to support their recovery journey.
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including tracking improvements in range of motion and functionality.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure that all equipment and therapeutic supplies are organized and ready for patient use.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Support patients emotionally, providing encouragement and fostering a motivating recovery environment.
• Adhere strictly to ethical and professional standards while maintaining patient confidentiality and rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, managing conditions resulting from injuries, surgeries, or chronic diagnoses. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Must hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Tennessee.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to best practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient physical therapy.
• Experience with varied rehabilitation specialties may be advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documenting patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits
