Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Evening Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hours per week (must be indicated at time of submission) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for all age groups
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards
• Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with state nurse practice act guidelines and established facility standards
• Perform physical care duties including lifting, pushing, and repositioning patients as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license; must be eligible for or currently hold licensure in the state of Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility, or minimum 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility; experience level must be reflected on resume
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• TNCC certification required
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date (candidates may be submitted without but must obtain before beginning assignment)
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in trauma and/or pediatric emergency care
• High-acuity environment experience, ideally in a facility seeing 200+ patients per day
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
