Senior HR Generalist – Multi-SiteWestfall Technik is a plastics manufacturing company headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, with operations across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. We make products people rely on every day, and we believe our people are what make that possible.The RoleWe're looking for an experienced, hands-on HR professional to be the on-site HR partner for three of our manufacturing sites: New Richmond, WI; Willernie, MN; and our Upper Peninsula, Michigan location, with about 120 employees in total. You'll be the one on the floor, in the break room, and working with site leadership day to day, handling employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, leaves, and compliance. You'll report to the VP of Human Resources, who will partner with you on complex matters, and you'll be part of a collaborative HR team across the company.Location & TravelYour home base is our New Richmond, WI site. You'll also travel about once a week to our Willernie, MN site and potentially make a quarterly trip to our Upper Peninsula, Michigan location.What You'll DoServe as the go-to HR resource for site General Managers, supervisors, and employees across all three locationsHandle employee relations issues. You'll conduct investigations, document findings, and recommend outcomes in partnership with the VP of HRCoach supervisors on progressive discipline, documentation, and performance conversationsManage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, including onboarding and new hire orientationAssist in the administration of leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, and state leave programs) and coordinate with workers' comp carriersSupport compliance with federal and state employment laws across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan, including required postings and I-9sMaintain accurate employee records and data in ADPSupport company-wide initiatives including compensation cycles, benefits open enrollment, handbook rollouts, and training programs and othersTrack turnover and retention trends and bring forward what you're seeing and ideas to improve itBuild trust with employees on all shifts so people feel comfortable bringing concerns forwardWhat You BringBachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)4+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing or another multi-shift, hourly environmentHands-on experience with employee relations and workplace investigationsWorking knowledge of employment law; multi-state experience is a plusStrong organization and the ability to juggle multiple sites without losing the detailsGood judgment.
