As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Coraopolis, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $13.40 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
\n
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
\n

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
\n
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the office park, retail areas, parking locations, building perimeters, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
\n
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
\n
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as directed.
\n
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and other security-related records in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

\n

\n
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
\n
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
\n
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
\n
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
\n
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
\n
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
