Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a compassionate and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to become a valuable member of our dedicated imaging team. Responsibilities Overview

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient care by ensuring comfort and safety during examination procedures, explaining every step with care and compassion.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic images.
• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain electronic medical records for all patients.
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
