Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, offering clear and compassionate explanations
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referral physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic images
• Maintain imaging equipment effectively, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurate documentation of procedures and maintenance of patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

• Demonstrated technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
