About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full financial spectrum, from accounting and cash management to strategic planning and performance analysis. This includes partnering with executive leadership to shape financial strategy, overseeing financial management, reporting, and accounting operations, and ensuring financial accuracy and disciplined cash flow. The role also involves maintaining strong internal controls, compliance with GAAP and company policies, and leading the finance team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting and financial management, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in GAAP, cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems is essential, and a background in manufacturing, particularly chemicals, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a CPA or CMA designation and a proven track record of operating both strategically and hands-on within a similar industrial setting. Key skills include the ability to manage cash flow, working capital, and debtor-creditor relationships, as well as experience in vendor management related to HR services and payroll administration.
