Role Overview


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst with deep expertise in the General Insurance - Property & Casualty (P&C) domain and ETL expertise. The role requires strong business analysis capabilities, excellent stakeholder management, and proven experience in Agile/SAFe delivery environments. The incumbent will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving high-quality solutions across underwriting, policy, claims, and data platforms.


Mandatory Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in General Insurance (P&C) domain.
• Hands-on experience with business process modeling, data analysis, data mapping, and data validation.
• Author Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents detailing specific business transformations required for various subject areas.
• Design optimal target structures in Snowflake, aligning with dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) for insurance reporting.
• Define technical mapping specifications optimized for PySpark data frames and serverless execution inside AWS Glue.
• Demonstrated mastery in producing complex STTM artifacts, functional data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries
• Strong functional knowledge of P&C insurance processes including Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, and Rating.
• Extensive experience working in Agile / SAFe frameworks and full SDLC.
• Proven expertise in business requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong experience in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting backlog grooming.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Experience in testing support, UAT coordination, and defect triage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior stakeholders.


Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
• Experience working with underwriting or core insurance systems.
• Exposure to data governance, data quality, and regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
• Knowledge of insurance data models and integration patterns.
• Certification in Business Analysis (CSPO, SAFe BA, CBAP, etc.) and/or Agile (CSM etc.).

• Develop data mappings from source systems including underwriting and policy platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity and solution quality.
• Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and strong stakeholder satisfaction.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
